OK yes, we keep harping on about it – but proofreading your work is ESSENTIAL. It is critical to your credibility as a professional; sometimes a glaring error is what people will remember rather than the attributes of the property you are marketing.
It can be difficult to proofread your own work, so we recommend you show any copy to a fresh ‘set of eyes’ prior to uploading/publishing – preferably to someone who has good to above-average literacy skills.
Everyone makes mistakes; so do not be too hard on yourself, but be sure to correct any errors IMMEDIATELY once pointed out. This is the beauty of electronic marketing, you can log-in and edit in ‘real time’; sadly the highest impact is made when something is first launched.
