Now that Easter is over, it’s back down to business again; and with a late Easter this year, the rest of the 2019 is going to fly by! Before we know it, it will be spring, then Christmas, then 2020…no wonder people get a bit fatigued; life can feel like a whirlwind.
All throughout the year there are significant international, national, regional, and local happenings/events; as a local agent you are part of a wider community, you interact at grass roots level with the residents and owners, and it’s important to keep connected.
One way many agents do this is via regular electronic newsletters. Inspiration can be challenging at times, but regular contact with your database, particularly those residing or invested in the area you service, is critical to keeping your brand relevant, visible, and credible.
You don’t always have to talk about real estate; just keep in touch. If there’s something of significance happening in your community, for example, the refurbishing of the local surf club, school fetes, a vintage car rally, and so on…you can use your newsletter to inform or update residents about these events or projects.
If you want people to engage with the recipients of the newsletters/blogs – keep them short, mix up/diversify the content, and provide information of value.
