Established in 2012, PPC has been writing marketing copy for agents across Australia; not only saving them time, but adding genuine polish to their campaigns.  

 

Our copy focuses on selling the benefits of the property, and creating a feeling of what it would be like to live there;  we use emotive words and phrases to infuse warmth, stimulate interest, and generate enquiry.    

 

We have developed strong, ongoing relationships with some of the nation’s leading agents and agencies, and our team works within tight deadlines to ensure you get your copy back in a timely manner, ready to publish online.

Why we established Professional Property Copy

Founding Director of PPC, Natalie Atkinson established this service with her business partner, Journalist Joanna Jones after Natalie, (a former Agent), struggled over many years writing quality copy; Natalie identified that outsourcing time-consuming tasks to professionals made sense. Time is money.

Natalie Atkinson

Natalie Atkinson is a former award-winning agent who established a successful career on the Sunshine Coast working for several high-profile agencies. After her children were born, Natalie focussed on building property-related online businesses supplying agents with goods and services, including Professional Property Copy.

After her experience working as an agent herself, and speaking with colleagues and industry peers, Natalie identified that writing copy was one task many Agents struggled with, mainly due to the time invested in completion; the seed was planted, and PPC was founded in 2012.

The public face of PPC, Natalie liaises with agents and principals, markets the services, distributes newsletters, in addition to actively researching and brainstorming additional copy-related services that may be of benefit to industry practitioners.

Natalie Atkinson

Natalie Atkinson is a former award-winning agent who established a successful career on the Sunshine Coast working for several high-profile agencies. Joanna Jones

Joanna Jones holds a Bachelor of Business-Communication from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), majoring in Journalism and Public Relations, graduating in 1991 with Distinction. Joanna spent the first 15 years of her career as a newspaper journalist both overseas and in Australia; including working at the Sunshine Coast Daily and was Editor of the Sunshine Valley News (now called Sunshine Valley Gazette) for eight years.

Since 2008, Joanna has been working in the property industry using her communication skills property-related copy; including property editorials, media releases, agent profiles, website content and award submissions. Joanna’s clients were originally Sunshine Coast based, but she now writes for agents nationwide.

Joanna’s copy is aimed at selling the benefits of the property, highlighting points of difference, injecting emotional appeal, and generating enquiry; her words create a complementary narrative to the images.

Melissa Goodwin

Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in English and History and has a background in writing and research. Before becoming an online content writer and published author, she wrote internal workplace copy, including company newsletters and operations manuals.

Melissa has worked in the content marketing industry for the past 12 years writing website and social media copy that helps businesses build brand authority, trust and generate sales. She has written for clients such as Lendlease, Blackmores and Energy Australia.

From 2020, Melissa has been writing real estate copy and social media for agents nationwide. Melissa aims to communicate the unique benefits of each property and show that every house is more than just a list of features – it is a place to call home.
